The Typical Process

Myself and the customer have a conversation on the phone, ideally if a customer can send photos of the wall or walls in question and dimensions. Once I have established what's important to your child in terms of hobbies, colours, general theme etc, I can follow up with a detailed quotation for the mural painting.

Once a customer has accepted the quotation, the next step is for the customer to pay a deposit design fee of £85 (This design fee is included in the overall price of the mural work)

Once the customer is happy with the design, we arrange a date to paint the wall, this can be during the week or at weekends if you prefer. (No extra costs are incurred for weekend painting.)

The day of painting the mural

Turn up at the time and date arrange, spend the first hour or so masking off the surrounding parts of the wall to the one being painted, put dust sheets down on the floor. Set up the industrial extractor fan that has a hose that goes out of the window.

Then in a light coloured spray can colour sketch out the outlines for the mural, at this point we always check that your happy with
the proportions on the wall.

Then we fill in the colours and layer up the mural, most parents typically check in during the course of the painting to see how the mural is progressing.

Once the mural is finished we all check it together to check that everyone is happy. Once everyone is happy, the final payment is made, we clear up and leave.

Despite the fact that we use water based spray paint, which has little or no odour combined with the industrial extractor fan, I would suggest that you don't put your child back into the room for 24 hours just to allow the room to air out.

Payment process

After you have accepted the quote, customer pay £85 design deposit (This fee is deducted from the final price of the mural)

On the morning in question after we have set up and sketched out the mural you then pay 50% of the remaining cost.

Once the the mural is finished and everyone is happy, you pay the final remaining amount. You can either pay BACS, cash or by card.
