We will also enquire on your behalf if the outside area at Portishead Youth & Community Centre is available to hire.

Once the date and time have been arranged, and avialbilty at PYYC has been confirmed, we will then send you a party invite to WhatsApp to parents.

I will arrive at least an hour to an hour and a half prior to the party starting to allow enough time to set up.

Gazebos will be set up, and one of the bases of the gazebos will have a wrap-around vinyl film, which will be used to paint the birthday child's name in readable graffiti lettering.

All the children taking part in the party will provided with a:

Clean overall suit

Clean Goggles

Latex free gloves

FPP3 face mask

Shoe protectors

Despite all of the above PPE, it is still advised that children don't wear their very best clothes.

There will be up to 5 x 3 metres by 3 metres gazebos. Please note that these gazebos are not designed to withstand extreme weather conditions such as storms, gales, etc.

In the instance of exceptionally heavy rain or extreme weather warnings, Graffarty and the customer will look at another date and time when the weather is more favourable.  Having carried out hundreds of birthday parties over the last 10 years, this has never happended.

Yes, graffiti birthday parties take place all year round. Portable lights are used during the shorter days of the winter months. The water-based spray paint works in conditions up to -10 degrees.

The party starts with the children having had their names sketched out by myself. The young people then colour their names and background using water-based spray paint.

After they have finished their name boards, I then finish each of the boards with a 3D outline and white highlights.

The young people move on to paint other sheets of high-grade cardboard with free hand designs and using a variety of stencils that I provide. 

Yes, they keep all the artwork they produce during the party. The name board is professionally finished by myself with a 3D outline and highlights.

Their artwork is painted onto decent-quality sheets of cardboard. At a typical party, each child goes home with around 4 pieces of artwork each.

Ideally from 8 years upwards. Younger children can have parties, but over the years we have noted that 8 upwards tends to be the best value as the children are more likely to paint for the 1.5 hours that the party lasts for.

One of the many great things about hiring Portishead Youth and Community Centre is that it has floodlights which means a graffiti birthday party after it is dark is no problem at all.

The outdoor space costs £25 per hour, minimum hire for a graffiti birthday party is 4 hours.

You will also have access to some table and chairs inside the Youth Centre to have party food and cake etc
